SharkBite reclaimed water PEX is cross-linked polyethylene tubing for gray water, rainwater harvesting and reclaimed water systems only. Manufactured with a purple color background, the tubing meets color code requirements of national and state code bodies to clearly identify reclaimed water lines. SharkBite reclaimed water PEX is manufactured and is available in 1/2 in. to 1 in. sizes. A repeating SharkBite imprint pattern provides a visual aid to determine if the tube has been inserted all the way into the SharkBite push-fit fitting. This feature only works if the tubing is cut between the SharkBite imprint pattern. SharkBite reclaimed water PEX can be connected with SharkBite push-fit fittings or barbed fittings - providing a variety of connection options for a trouble free installation.
