The SharkBite connection system offers an extensive line of barb fittings plus manifolds, supports and tools for both clamp and crimp ring PEX tubing installations. When a water distribution project requires low cost materials, a system that utilizes PEX tubing, barb fittings and manifolds is a good choice. In addition to being cost effective, these systems simplify the installation compared to copper or rigid plastic pipe systems that use solder or glue for fitting joints. The SharkBite PEX/barb system includes everything needed, from pressure regulators and valves with barb connectors, to chrome plated stops for hooking up fixtures.

Particularly useful in areas where water service is concentrated, such as bathrooms; Compatible with PEX and PE-RT pipe; Connects to PEX pipe with copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamps; Minimum working temperature 33 deg F at 160 psi. Maximum working temperature 200 deg F at 80 psi; Certified for potable and radiant heating applications.
